Law Coach
Sanceray Smith is a current student at Harvard Law School and a 2024 graduate of Duke University from Atlanta, Georgia. At Duke, she majored in Political Science; her academic work focused on race, education, and public policy, including a senior thesis on the politicization of Critical Race Theory and research examining how cultural differences among teachers can contribute to disparate learning outcomes for students of color.
Before law school, Sanceray worked in executive recruiting and as a freelance LSAT tutor, where she developed a strong interest in helping others navigate important academic and professional decisions with greater clarity and confidence.
Having recently gone through the law school admissions process herself, Sanceray understands how easy it can be to feel as though there is a single “right” way to be a competitive applicant. She hopes to offer students candid, practical guidance throughout the process while helping them recognize the value of their own experiences, build confidence in what they bring to the table, and create thoughtful, cohesive applications that feel authentic to who they are.
