Misha Lazzara is the author of Manmade Constellations, hailed as a “notable debut” by Publisher's Weekly. Her poetry has appeared on poets.org, Amethyst Review, Carolina Muse, and more.
In the university setting, she has taught everything from first-year composition and creative nonfiction to intro fiction, advanced fiction, and special topics in literature at NCSU, UNCC, and Lenoir-Rhyne University, as well as various community and online courses spanning from prescriptive craftwork to metaphysical abstracts.
After having taught in so many different narrative styles, Misha is incredibly excited to help applicants engage with essay requirements while also finding their own unique voices in order to create the strongest admission materials they possibly can.
